Polygon styles

Polygon styles in Earthlight are characterized by palette of varieties. Below you can see how unique each polygon can look.

Colour

On the first tab you can define colour and transparency of the polygon. Note that you can switch between Swatches or even go to Advanced tab and specify precisely your fill colour.

  • Components – in this window you can see all the components of the polygon style. Components can be moved up and down in the order, added or removed with the four buttons placed below the window. An example of a composite polygon style can be seen below:
  • Colour – controls the colour and opacity of the polygon.
  • Linestyle – sets the border of the polygon.

Pattern

On the second tab you can define your own pattern based on a image from your local disk drive.

  • Pattern height – controls the height of the pattern, you can set height units of your choice.
  • Color mode – Normal / Override.
  • Override white with – with Color mode set to Override, you can select colour replacing white.

While using pattern on polygon, black elements can be controlled by Color tab while white by Override white with menu.
