Manage Album
This tool allows users to add, delete and georeference raster images to an Album Layer.
For more information about Album tool please visit: Album.
In order to be able to use the Manage Album tool, user will need to have:
- Flows pane enabled in its User Settings → Map Layout: Sidebars,
- Run flows permission has to be enabled in user's Role.
To start georeferencing, please, select repository Album layer for your raster images from a dropdown list. Now click on Upload button at the bottom of a pane, then on Select files to upload in Files upload window and navigate to your raster image.
Please note, that the raster image needs to be in JPEG or PDF format.
After your raster file loads, it will appear in Pictures list and will be displayed on a right-hand pane when you double-click on its name. Now you can start setting ground control points (GCP’s) for your georeference process. To do that, please, click Georef button.
Start setting up corresponding points on both sides of a screen (at least 3 corresponding points are needed) and when they are in place, click Process on a left-hand pane.
When the process is finished, your raster image will disappear from a right-hand pane, and appear on the map.
If the referenced image needs correcting, users can always select it, click on Georef and add or move GCP’s by dragging and dropping.
