Please follow the steps below in order to set up your own WFS feed.

Open the WFS Servers tool and select Add at the bottom of the Manage WFS Servers window.

Provide the name which will be visible on the WFS Servers list.

Click on Browse and navigate to the map containing layers that should be hosted by the WFS feed.

Enter a user name for the feed. Please note that the user provided in server details needs to have at least Allow Read permission for resources hosted by the feed. You can learn more about the user permissions here: Manage Shares .

Earthlight WFS Servers support Basic Authentication in case the feed requires password protection. The authentication details are the same as the credentials of user assigned to the feed. In the case of the non-protected feeds, we advise creating a user login composed of a random string of characters (like GUID) for WFS/WMS purposes to provide some level of security.

Select map layers that should be hosted by the feed. Please note that for the layers to be accessible through the service URL you need to set the Tag for each one in map layer properties.

After all the Server details are filled in correctly please click OK. Your new WFS Server will be visible on the list right away with the service URL ready to copy at the bottom of the Manage WFS Servers window.
