Advanced - Layer properties
Tag – Used in Aurora. It has to be defined to allow using show_layers and hide_layers in Aurora Start Parameters.
Use memory vector cache – tells Earthlight whether it should load this layer to its memory cache. If you have sufficient random access memory (RAM) it is advised for all vector layers to be loaded into memory to speed up operations. By default all layers stored in the database are cached to the memory so there is no need to change this setting.
Use gazetteer cache – similar to the above only for gazetteer layers.
Change modification procedures… – Earthlight supports referencing SQL stored procedures for creating, updating and deleting records in tables/views. They can also be used for updating multiple tables (very useful for database view management).

Rendering quality – has 4 settings.
From Draft – high performance/lower quality to High – lower performance/high quality
Is stencil layer – if this box is checked then the layer will be used as a base layer for snapping tool.
Forced geometry type – this setting enforces geometry type for a layer.
It is by default set to geometry column type for layers created in Earthlight and to the widest geometry type for layers with mixed geometries imported into Earthlight (i.e.: if a layer has Line Strings and Multi Line Strings geometries than this will be set to Multi Line Strings).
Copy layer properties to other maps/layers… – Earthlight support storing layer properties in maps as well as in layers so this option allows for changes made to the layer properties to be propagated to the server to overwrite existing ones.
