Dynamic Styling tab options allows users to define how records should be displayed on the map under certain conditions.
Geometry as point - this option allows to draw all line and polygon geometries in a layer as points beyond a certain scale.
Please note
After setting the Geometry as point options, please click Apply button to accept the changes and reopen the Layer Properties → Display Query tab in order to configure the new style for point geometry.
This is how Display Query looks for a layer with enabled Geometry as point option:
With this configuration users can change style for it main geometry type (in this case polygon) and for the points that will be displayed after specified scale.
Symbol rotation - it allows to rotate the point symbol by a value in one of the columns.
In this example values from the New_Column are used to to rotate the symbols and the Multiplier is set to 1:
Please note
It is possible to set the rotation to be clockwise by changing the Multiplier to negative values e.g.
Composition - changes the method of drawing polygons with transparency.
