Save As Image

This command allows the map to be saved at a chosen scale to an image layout which can include logos, licence information, watermarks, etc. The image is saved as JPEG, PNG, TIFF or BMP file. The Text field allows labels to be added at this stage. Image templates are created in Print tab and saved to “Image Layouts” folder in the Resources branch.

It is possible to save a default set of settings – Page layout, Scale and Image format – by clicking Set as default… button.
