New

Selecting New creates a new map. The map area will be blank and the key will be empty except for the item representing the map called “New Map”. You can change this name by selecting the “New Map” item and clicking Properties. Follow this link to learn more about Map properties: Map Properties

Please note

If an existing map is already open, it will be closed disregarding any changes made to the map since the map is not saved at that time.
