Fields - DocX page layout

As an extension of PDF and Image page layout capabilities DocX page layout incorporates Data Fields. These complex fields let you display information more precisely than Result Box can. Data Fields are created in Page Layout Field Editor and later inserted into DocX page layout template using MS Word/Quick Parts/Field option and select DocProperty in ‘Field names’ panel.

Properties

If you insert query result group field in your DocX print layout you can configure how Earthlight should print information relating to tables that have been searched but returned no results.

The Empty table action drop down list lets you pick how Earthlight should print information relating to tables that have been searched but returned no results.

• Ignore – is pretty much self-explanatory,
• Include – table name will be followed by the text that is defined in Empty table text box,
• Aggregate – at the end of the result box the text that is defined in Empty table text box will be followed by the names of all the empty tables.
