PDF and Image page layout

If you choose the first option – Create new Earthlight page layout – next thing to do is setting up the Page Properties (page format, orientation, margins, snapping grid)

You can also configure Page Layout Properties. It controls available map scales in the Print Settings dialog as well as page layout used for printing multipage PDF documents. In this case the Next page layout is a page layout without the map window that will be used for presenting query results (using the Result Box) in case these will not fit in the Result Box on the first page.

Creating page layout means emplacing appropriate element placeholders on the page.
