Filling a gap in an existing restriction

To fill in the gap in an existing restriction please follow the steps described below.


Step 1

  1. Select inspection tool

  2. Click on the existing restriction

  3. Select Details

 

Step 2

  1. Observe that restriction is automatically highlighted on the TRO details panel

  2. Select matching restriction type

 

Step 3

  1. Click at the start of a new restriction (which will fill the gap)

  2. Click at the end of a new restriction

  3. Click on a map marker to finish drawing

 

Step 4

  1. Select desire schedule

  2. Select or verify restriction street

  3. Accept geometry

  4. Save restriction

 

Step 5
Observe that a new restriction without starting/ending descriptions appeared.

  1. Click on the “old” restriction with all attributes (start/end point description)

  2. Hold Ctrl key and click on newly created restriction: at this stage, two restrictions should be highlighted, but the first will have a yellow label: COMBINE SOURCE – this means that when we combine restrictions, all attributes will be copied from restrictions indicated by this yellow label (the restriction which was selected first)

  3. Click the “Combine” option and the newly created restriction will join “old” restriction geometries
