GMS BLPU Extent Manager
Â
BLPU Extent Manager is a tool to quickly capturing Provenances (BLPU Extents).
Â
Yellowish layer contains property outlines from Land Registry.
Â
Â
a) Click on it to confirm that Land Registry polygon should be used as BLPU extent for the property contained within this polygon (BLPU point/black dot),
Â
Â
b) Hold SHIFT button and drag the mouse to confirm multiple Land Registry polygons to multiple BLPUs in one move (handy for rows of terraced houses),
Â
Â
c) Hold CTRL button and drag the mouse to capture a single BLPU extent made of TopoArea polygons – polygons will be automatically merged (note that you should not use this method for capturing multiple BLPUs at once).
Â
Â
In this example, captured polygon is assigned to all four BLPUs.
Â
Â
d) When you are happy, hit the Save button and polygons will be added as provenances to confirmed BLPUs.
Â
Â
Â
Please note that only parent BLPUs are listed and when you hit Save button all children will also inherit new extents.
