Sometimes images contain numerical values instead of information about colours. In such case there’s a need to set the following settings:

  1. set pyramid type to: SMRaster
  2. check Images contain values (not colours) box.
  3. It’s also required to set output format to PNG. Those values are stored in colour channels and can contain information about altitude, intensity of some factor etc.
