Label

The labels adjacent to the boxes to aid data entry.

Field

This is the only Insert tool that is available for both Forms and AutoForms.

It can be used to allow Aurora users to provide data that can later be used or saved in a database.

Users can pick of nine types of fields to better match data which the field should store.

Label – name of the field which will be shown in the form.
Field name – this can be used by other Aurora tasks to obtain the data which is stored in a certain field. In order to call the data, please enter provided field name in square brackets.
Description – short description.

Control type - it comes with nine types of fields to better match a data which the field should store:

• TextBox – a text field, that can store up to 2000 characters,
• NumericBox – this field accepts only numeric values,
• ComboBox – this field allows users to choose one from predefined values,
• ListBox – this field allows users to choose one from predefined values within a static field box,
• RadioButtonGroup – this field allows users to choose one from predefined set of mutually exclusive items,
• DatePicker – this field allows users to enter a date manually (yyyy-mm-dd) or choose one from the pop-up calendar,
• Section – This field allows users to create a subtitle,
• Memo – a text field, that can store up to 8000 characters. The area of this field can be increased by stretching the bottom right corner,
• AddressSearchBox – this field allows users to find the needed address.

Initial value – default value of the field.
Predefined values: The field for predefined values. Every value should be written with a new line.

An image can be loaded into the form as an example of the Form type. i.e. report road damage.

A button can be used if a link is required to another website or hyperlink document.
