The Routing tab presents you with the following tools in Design Route section:
Set Start Point
This tool creates starting location for your journey.
Set End Point
This tool creates finish location for your journey.
Add Stop
Add Stop adds a location, which you would like to see on your route.
Add Barrier
Adds a location, which is impassable. Routing system will automatically find a way around.
Load Destinations
This tool allows to add few locations based on a point layer, which you would like to see on your route.
Search Address
Search window allows you to enter the address you are looking for and select the marker you want to place there:
Clear all
This function clears all above elements from the map
Below is a simple example of routing system – includes two blocked streets and additional stop en route.
There is also a panel on the right side of the Earthlight application:
First tab – Itinerary – shows the list of all stops, including start and end point. You can manipulate their order or add new checkpoint.
Afterwards you can Optimize your route based on fastest or shortest parameter:
Second tab – Barriers – shows the list of all barriers. You can also manipulate their order or add new barrier.
Third tab – Instructions – presents your route in simple steps – each road and its distance step by step:
