File Explorer tool works similarly to Windows Explorer. It allows folder management, etc. to occur.

The File Explorer tool contains 2 sections:

  1. File list and search box
    The first section displays the files tree. To open a folder please use a small triangle icon next to the folder’s name. Please select a file/folder. On the right pane, will be displayed files and directories from the directory selected on the left.

    To search for a specific file or directory, please select on the left pane, a directory where you would like to perform searching in. You can select a directory or Repository for searching in entire repository. After entering searched text, results will appear in right pane, just below the search box.

  2. Clipboard
    This section contains tools which allows to perform operations on files stored in the Repository. You can also check what is the name of currently edited file/folder. There are 6 tools in this section:
    • Cut
      It allows you to move a file/folder to a different location. Information about content of clipboard will appear above the buttons.

      You can then use Paste tool to paste the selected file/folder to a new location.
    • Copy
      Makes a copy of selected file/folder and stores it in a clipboard.

      You can then use Paste tool to paste copied file/folder to a new location.
    • Paste
      Whenever you’ll use a Cut/Copy tool on a file/folder you have to use Paste tool to paste selected file/folder in a new location.
    • Delete
      This button allows you to delete selected file/folder. A confirmation window appears when you select this option:

    • Rename
      The rename option allows you to change the selected file/folder name.

    • Create directory
      The last button in this section allows to create a new directory in selected location.
