This is how an example of the Map element looks in print:
Please note that in the example above, there are two map elements.
Map properties window contains 4 sections:
- Frame style – not available for DocX templates
In this section you can configure the style of the Map element frame. To set the style please click a Change button. In the Map FrameEdit line style editor you can change the frame colour, width and opacity. - Watermark
This section allows you to set a watermark image for the Map element. To select the image please click the Load buttonon the rectangular area. You can also clear the existing image by pressing the Clear button. - Watermark opacity
Here you can set the opacity for the watermark image. - Copyrights
In this section you can enable/disable printing the copyrights texts displayed in Earthlight mapviews. You can also configure the font style, set the width and colour of outline.
Placing two mapviews in a single print
You can place two map controls on the template. Each map control will be centred on the centre of the map on the Map tab.
The viewport just like In the picture below you can find example on how to do it. Please note that each map element contains a border - it was manually configured.
The Viewport and the scale of the second map window (the Inset map (2)) can be changed in Print Settings dialog. To set them print areas please pickpick Set print areas tool button.
